The Shore Racquet Club was founded in 2000.  The squash game in South Jersey has roots going back to the early 1900's.  The players played at a private club on the 15th floor located at the old Haddon Hall Hotel in Atlantic City.  During the casino expansion Haddon Hall became Resorts International Hotel & Casino.  The club survived many ownership changes but unfortunately closed in 2001.

The area had another prominent squash club located at Atlantic City Country Club in Northfield.  The squash courts were closed when ACCC was purchased by an area casino.  With no place to play, local investors built Shore Racquet.  The end result is one of the finest squash facilities in the country.  Players enjoy 4 international courts, 2 singles, 2 doubles and a wide variety of amenities and social events.
